I tried Neurontin a little over a year ago, and I didn't notice any benefit from it. I also am not very fond of the company Pfizer, which manufactures it. The strange thing about it was that the day I started taking it, I actually had a short period of days that were spasm free. I think it was a coindidental fluke, though, because in the long term, it didn't seem to be doing anything.

HI Lib,
I was on neurontin for several months, and I didn't find it did much for me until i was actually off of it. I too am bery sensitive to medications, and had a difficult time with the sedation.
You can find accounts of my experience with neurontin here:http://myoclonus.proboards23.com/index.cgi?board=treatment&action=display&thread=1072686392
Take Gentle Care Lib,
Lisa
