Well just as I was starting to believe my meds were helping me my popping/clicking started up in my r. (bad) ear again last night. They were triggered by my own voice and from the sound of running water. I have absolutely no clue why! I usually can associate some kind of trigger but I am at a loss.
I have doubled my Trileptal starting this morning. So far today I have not had any popping/clicking.
I hope it was just a fluke and things will get back on track. I'm wondering about chocolate but during my 2 month remission I know I ate chocolate so I find that hard to believe as the cause.
Sometimes I think it's when I talk alot or raise my voice in conversation when in a noisier environment like a restaurant.
Who knows?? I don't think I'll ever figure out what the cause is.

((((Karen)))) I am sorry. I can't imagine the frustration this must be causing you. I hope its just an off day and not that i wish illness upon you, that its just triggered by a cold.
I am keeping my fingers crossed for you.
Take Gentle Care

Thanks for the hug Lisa! It wound up I don't have a cold, think it was just the weather that day.
So far today no pops so now that I've doubled the Trileptal at both doses I'm hoping to continue pop-free!
Thanks always for your support.
Karen
P.S. I noticed on a list of drugs that CAUSE tinnitus that Trileptal is listed! I was quite surprised. Can't say that it has worsened since I've been on it though.
