I thought I would start off this thread by introducing myself to you.
My name is Lisa. I am 26 years old. I created this board so that I could hopefully unite with others suffering from what I have been diagnosed with as Stapedial Myoclonus. Through many hours of research I realized that their is little to no information out there for those of us suffering with these terrible symptoms. I hoped that through Joining with others, that we might shed some light on some relief, or just not feel so alone in this battle.
I live with my 2 Cats in almost utter silence. I watch closed captioning on my tv and spend alot of my leisure time on the computer. I love to paint, and bake, and spend time with my loving boyfriend.
I am currently on disability from work as the Stapedial Myoclonus has made my "hearing" life at times completely unbareable. I am on alot of medications that cause me extreme drowsyness so I do alot of sleeping.
So its been lovely having an oppertunity to introduce myself.
How'd you like to sit down for a cup of Decaf Coffee and Tell me a little about yourself.
