Well, I had my Ct Scan on Friday at 5:00 I am a determined girl, and managed to convince the technician to give me a cd with the ct scan burned onto it. The Scan itself was totally easy, and very quiet. I came into the Room with the ct scan, and the scanner resembled the opening of a dryer at the laundry mat, except there was a hole in the other end, and a long table laying in front of the scanner. I came into the room, and took off my earings and my glasses and laid down on the table. The table had a lead sheild on the bottom and when i Lay down I was also covered by lead. The scan itself took about 15 mins, it was very hard to lay still for so long, but i didn't want to have the scan redone, so I laid patiently. I could see above my eyes the whirling xray spinning quickly around me, the table slid me in and then slowly back out. I hate it when you get an itch and you can't scratch it; why does my nose always have to itch when I am having some tests like this done? I will post the rest of the images once i get them loaded.
